Funding assistance by Grant makers and CSI’s
If you, or your company/ business/ trust/ foundation, would like to make a contribution to Educo Africa and the work that we do, please email our Chief Executive Officer, Mark Gamble, at mark@educo.org.za for more information.
Where possible, the costs of Educo Africa courses are covered by participant registration fees. However, funding through corporations, foundations and individual donors remains integral to enable people from disadvantaged or traumatised backgrounds to benefit from our specially designed wilderness programmes.
We meet the following CSI criteria:
- Child & Youth Development: juvenile offenders, crime prevention
- HIV/AIDS: OVC’s, addressing psycho-social impact, caregivers, youth and adults infected and/or affected
- Capacity Building/ Skills Development: child and youth care sector, HIV/AIDS sector, broader development sector
- Leadership development with youth and adults
- Peace building with youth, adults and corporates
- Conservation and environment: education, stewardship, sustainable living
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” Melody Beattie
