How You Can Help
YOU COULD HELP EDUCO AFRICA REACH PEOPLE IN NEED BY DONATING FUNDS, GOODS OR SERVICES.
We need money to help cover the costs of the courses that are not fully funded by our larger funders and/or participant registration fees. Also, services rendered to Educo Africa free of charge, or at a discounted rate, help keep our costs down. Donations and sponsorship of courses or goods (such as equipment or office supplies, etc.) are also welcome.
Funding Assistance
Where possible, the costs of Educo Africa courses are supplemented by participant registration fees. However, most of Educo's work serves those who have no access to resources. Funding through corporations and foundations, and individual donor contributions therefore remain integral to enable people from disadvantaged or traumatized backgrounds to benefit from our specially designed wilderness programmes.
Different Ways To Make A Difference:
Affordable Philanthropy (Giving):
- Once-off monetary donations
- Or monthly contributions made easy and accessible through our 1000 People Donation Campaign
Sponsorship:
- Donations can be directed to a specific course or targeted beneficiary, or capital expenses e.g. equipment, vehicles, etc. with assurance in the form of post-programme reporting/photos/feedback if and where requested.
In-Kind Donations:
- These may take the form of discounts in terms of equipment, gear, consumables, services, etc. (A WISH LIST is available, but perhaps you can add something that we didn’t even know we needed! Like massages for staff coming home from courses in the wilderness!)
Grant Makers and Corporate Social Investments (CSI’s)
- If you represent a foundation or CSI programme of a particular corporation and would like to join forces with our donors to support our work, please contact Marian Goodman, Executive Director of Educo Africa at marian@educo.org.za.
EVERY CONTRIBUTION COUNTS!
