All individuals are working and seeing

December Holiday Programmes
Outside of its three main projects of Child & Youth Development, Sisonke HIV/Aids and The Leadership Project, Educo Africa runs December Holiday Programmes for all young people, between the ages of 10 and 18.
Our DECEMBER HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES are run from a basecamp in the Groot Winterhoek Mountains of the Western Cape (near Porterville).
All the programmes are tailored to suit the interests of the various age categories.
Moutain Madness
An introductory wilderness experience for 10 to 12 year old adventure enthusiasts! Learn self-confidence, trust, teamwork and an appreciation for oneself and the world.
Expect: team games and initiatives, backpacking, rock climbing / abseiling, swimming, group discussions on relevant topics, games and arts & crafts.

Team Extreme
Have you got what it takes? Are you 13 to 15 years old? Are you ready to experience the wild outdoors? Push beyond your own self-imposed limitations.
Expect: Peak climbing, backpacking, camping & camp craft, rock climbing / abseiling, solo time, orienteering, swimming, and much more! Group discussions include relevant personal and global issues.

Journey to the Centre of Earth
An expedition of epic proportions to the heart of the wilderness and beyond! Discover your own capabilities through responsible action and consequence. For older teens 16 to 18 years.
Expect: Kloof adventuring, expedition planning, mountain backpacking, rock climbing / abseiling, swimming, solo time, camp craft, navigation, group discussions on relevant topics, games and arts & crafts.
